The Lhusu Mines can be found within the Lhusu Square---located in the Skycity of Bhujerba.
Like the one in Henne, this is also a magicite mine located near the city of Bhujerba, and previously was a major source of magicite for the Archadian Empire.
During the time of the war, Lhusu Mines is still providing the Empire's Draklor Laboratory with magicite, but it's done in secret;
a venture led by Dr. Cid and...
...funded by Vayne Solidor.
But then, after the war has resided---things changed around all of Ivalice. The once selfish desire for power and supremacy had been vanquished after Vayne, Dr. Cid and the Sun Cryst- the source of all Magicites- had been vanquished. Today, the people in Ivalice have decided to use these powerful things as sources for their needs--- like power generators for airships.
Airships…
Later that evening, the Queen Ashe had found herself inside the Aerodome, in preparation for her flight. Her venture was scheduled to port at the Skycity of Bhujerba the following day.
After hearing that urgent report from Basch, nearly three days had passed, it never ceases to make her somehow worried of the threatening incident. And without a hint of irony, she decided to take off for Bhujerba to talk to her Uncle Halim about the matter.
at the Aerodome...
Moogle: “Kupo! It is an honor to be the one who would accompany the great Dalmascan Queen to her cabin, Kupo!” *bows*
Ashe: “By all means, please do set aside the formalities…in verity; I ought to express my thanks for your assistance.”
Moogle: “Not to worry, Kupo..I’m glad to be of service, Kupo!”
Ashe smiled at this, as she followed the moogle to where he was going. After a while, they stopped; her eyes widened in disbelief and excitement after seeing what is it in front of her.
Ashe: “I am sorry but…Are you certain this is where I be supposed to ride?”
Moogle: “Certainly certain Kupo. Your flight is to Bhujerba right?”
Ashe: “Well yes…but this is---”
Moogle: “The Strahl,kupo! You can hardly tell.”
Ashe was astonished by the moment she heard the moogle said its name. THE STRAHL…and suddenly, another familiar voice came to her hearing
???: “Do I have the privilege of addressing the royal Majesty, the beautiful Queen Ashelia of Dalmasca?”
Ashe: “B-Bal..thier?!”
Balthier: “Never thought you’d see me again, did you?”
Ashe: “Is that what you think? I’m afraid that sweet tongue of yours can do the bidding. I do see some people ought to never to amend”
Balthier: “And what’s the reason for change, M’lady? Please do ask them what they think of your verdict”
‘Them?’ She thought.
Well, who knew it wasn’t the Leading Man whom she would only meet---but also, the old friends she had ventured with years ago…
Vaan: “What’s up? Haven’t seen you for quite a long time now princess---uh, I mean, your Majesty”
Ashe: “Vaan! It is you---and Penelo, and Fran…”
Penelo: “Quite an entourage huh? Now, it seems that there’s only one more missing. *giggles* Where’s Basch anyway?”
Ashe: “Oh, the Captain Basch? He has already ventured to Bhujerba merely 3 days ago. Supposedly I was about to meet up with him, and my Uncle too”---
“But uh, wait. Why is it you are all gathered here?”
Fran: “Why ask such question your Highness? If it isn’t enough you have seen us yet?”
Balthier: “Alright now, enough of the babbling nonsense. We wouldn’t want to delay our flight do we? And you are coming with us right?”
Ashe: “Why yes…by all means.”
Balthier: “Then what are we all waiting for? Into the Strahl now---and welcome back aboard, Lady Ashe”
And so she did board the Strahl once more, and was set to arrive at the Sky City of Bhujerba at any time now. The Queen had so many unveiled thoughts, and questions that keep heeding their answers, but right now--- a glint of ecstasy is the only thing which is evident within her eyes…
Ashe: “To be reunited once more with these comrades of mine…such overwhelming feeling, it is”
